Millionaire Damian Aspinall has decided to bring a little oomph to the city of Swansea with his plan to create a brand new land based casino entertainment center, promising up to 500 city jobs to Swansea residents.

Damian Aspinall, who runs his late father, John Aspinall’s, animal parks, as well as an online casino, has initiated the creation process of his dream by signing the rights to build the new $30m casino in Swansea. The Salubrious Place is scheduled to begin construction in September with an aspired opening for 2006.

In accordance to Mr. Aspinall’s wishes, the casino will have everything there is to offer and then some. There will be possible $1m wins at either the slots or the tables. Each guest will feel catered to when they see that they are able to choose from a variety of gambling games ensuring that their experience is a delightful one. Guests can expect to see traditional games offered at Monte Carlo, electronic games and even good old slot machines.

There will also be an auditorium with a seating capacity of 400 persons for people to sit, relax and watch shows, pop acts and cabarets.

As Damian Aspinall puts it, “What we are planning for Swansea will be different from anything Wales will ever have seen before.”

Aspinall also stated that he wants to create a full training academy for the local workforce they intend on recruiting. This training school will offer all the necessary training that any future part-time or full-time employee might need to properly execute their new job.

Brunswick Mansford Wales (developers of the Salubrious Place) director, Richard Hayward states that the casino will be offering a “unique new leisure experience for Swansea.”

He also mentioned that further announcements would be made manifesting the caliber of the “tenants being attracted to the development.”
