Even though easy systems now exist that make becoming an advantage blackjack player easier, Advantage Blackjack is still difficult a very difficult tactic to dominate even if you are sticking to the easier systems. Either system takes strategy and good preparation. The player must always be well prepared for losses when they sit at the table. Loosing is not a matter of if but when, because losses will always come and if a player is not well prepared, it can mean the end of their game ad their money. It is estimated that a relatively good blackjack player can win up to $15-$20 per hour in the log run based on $25 bets but although this can hold true for a certain part of the time, there are always those times where the player can lose $1000 or even more and losses like these can only be waited out through proper preparation.
It is important to keep always keep your system in mind. Know when to trust your instinct. If based on your system strategy you have that feeling that tells you, just get up count your losses and leave, you should do it. Or on the contrary, after a horrible losing streak you feel that you should bet all that you have, then do that, but trust the system and what you’ve studied.
If you feel that maybe stepping up to the next level is for you, then you should look into different systems of tracking cards that will bring you into that level. For those just starting out and wishing to try something easy that can quickly be dominated, the book, The Ace/10 Front Count by Fred Renzey may be helpful. Front Count is the easiest in easy systems and is good for a beginner to start. But as I mentioned before, this is for serious players that want to really put their mind into the game. Blackjack will stop being a relax game and start being a challenge and for those who are not ready to make that step in becoming a semi pro then this is not for you, if you still want to go on then your decision has been made and I wish you all the luck in the world.
